Poem - Thank God for the Hunter

When the rains don't come,
 and the land can't provide,
 when horns don't protect,
 and the rhino can't hide,

When Africa's in strife,
 and the poachers run free,
 Governments corrupted,
 Amid death and disease

Thank God for the hunter,
 The protector of land,
 That feeds and conserves,
 All animals at hand

The hunter is there,
 When all is lost,
 Fighting for nature,
 Whatever the cost.
